Position Summary

The Optima Professional Services SAP Practice Manager oversees the US-based Optima ECM Consulting Professional Services team. The solutions we implement include the Open Text Invoice Management for SAP, Archiving/Document Archiving for SAP, Business Center, EFM, Taulia, OpenText Content Server and other solutions as assigned. You are responsible for achieving revenue targets set for the group, supporting maintenance of declared company margin targets, consultant utilization targets, consultant development and training coordination, customer satisfaction for service engagements, coordination of activities with Sales Executives that are responsible for assigned accounts and interaction with senior client business and IT management. You will grow and foster a culture of innovation, professionalism, quality and service excellence and encourage and promote creative thinking and problem solving as well as career development within your team.

What you will do: 
 
Staff Leadership
•    Lead the SAP Solutions team focused on areas including services sales pipeline, resource staffing, and to
determine and coordinate new hire requirements
•    Hire, develop and create retention strategies for assigned staff
•    Build practice knowledge base by working with the consultants for coordinating the contribution of deliverables to our code repository and assets database
•    Monitor and maintain relationships with the team of consultants to support their professional growth and productivity
•    Work with Optima leaders & other members to drive the creation, sharing and reuse of deployment knowledge and best practices across the practice
•    Define and develop training and mentorship program for assigned staff
•    Monitor and update Optima’s Professional Services Automation tool with staffing requests and adjustments as required

Financial Management:
•    Responsibility for stated revenue targets
•    Responsibility for utilization targets

Sales Support:
•    Review services sales pipeline and reports weekly, as well as participate in weekly sales forecast and strategy calls
     to ensure the team is appropriately staffed for upcoming work
•    Participate in sales calls and customer visits for qualified key strategic customer accounts as required
•    Manage the resolution of customer escalations

Project Support:
•    Provide leadership support for strategic accounts to foster strong relationships, reference ability and
      services annuity revenue
•    Support PMO in providing quality assurance reviews and post implementation reviews, as needed
•    Manage strategic projects as assigned

Accountability and Performance Measures:
•    Team utilization

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications)
•    Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
•    Master’s degree preferred
•    SAP, OpenText and/or Content Management technical/functional skills are highly desired
•    7+ years of relevant software implementation and solution services experience
•    5+ years related experience with at least 2 years in a services billable organization.
•    Experience managing a large team of professional consultants delivering solution implementations
•    Strong knowledge of business management and consulting in various industries.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Strong interpersonal skills.
•    Travel is required, sometimes internationally
